Megan (Baggott) Sorensen

The sense of vision is an awesome blessing;
I love to soak up a sight.

I find my greatest inspiration through travel.
To immerse myself in the ordinary days of ordinary peoples
living in extraordinary places far from home
is the most dramatic, humbling, moving experience I have come to know.
Respect and understanding
, wonder and awe;
to visit other latitudes ignites my heart.

Still, with sleepless vision ever peeking,
I relish in the art which lives around me at home.
The simple crease of a drape, the whiteness of a birch, the ironies of urbania,
tickle my sight daily.

Photography was a perfect fit for me -
I'm a natural problem-solver

and, of course, a seer.
Inanimate or alive, I try to capture the dynamic nature of any subject.

<>I hold a Bachelor's of Art in Photography & Studio Arts
from The State University of New York at Fredonia.
My professional experience in the creative arts ranges from
editorial to commercial to fine art, spanning two decades.

I love to play with art in many mediums,
and to be outdoors - hiking, biking,
snowboarding- or just relaxing with a pint of Guinness.

Residing in White Plains, NY, I am central to a wide radius of inspiring territory,
including New York City and the Hudson Valley.

Please give me a shout
for all of your imaging projects.
